1. Channel Rules     - The following will get you banned from #Melbourne  

• We simply have one major rule in #Melbourne, no SERIOUS abuse towards other users such as social media links, images of users, personal details such as mobile phone numbers, real names etc.

• Everything else is pretty much welcome, you can call each other all sorts of names, try to have sexual relations with each other etc

3. Online Chat Interface- Users are welcome to bring friends into #Melboure without downloading a IRC client, simply click CHAT NOW for our web interface client 

4. Connecting via mIRC (Windows based software)- You can download mIRC from http://www.mirc.co.uk/get.html and once installed connect to #Melbourne via the following   

• use the command in your status window:  /server irc.austnet.org

• once connected join #Melbourne using the command: /join #melbourne

• If you would like to change your nick use the command: /nick new-nickname-here

	5. Conclusion:

#Melbourne is a place to kill time, be a lame, slooder and overall IRC jerk. Everyone is welcome. If you have a problem with a user simply place them on your ignore list using the command: /ignore username 3 (example: "/ignore tozza 3" )
